Turkey strongly condemns the abhorrent terror attack that took place on 2 June in Islamabad, the capital of brotherly Pakistan, which targeted the Danish Embassy and left eight dead, including one person from the Embassy staff, and many injured.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Babacan has sent messages to his Pakistani and Danish counterparts following the terror attack

During all her contacts at multilateral, regional and bilateral levels, Turkey has been stressing in the strongest terms that regardless of its sources and pretexts, terrorism is a crime against humanity. Turkey always underlines the vital importance of effective international cooperation in the fight against terrorism.

We extend our condolences to the families of the victims of the attacks and the brotherly people of Pakistan, and wish speedy recovery to those wounded.
